Handmade Quilts: Fabric, Thread, and Tradition Sewn Together.
The Process of Making a Quilt
Because each quilt is individually handcrafted, pricing reflects the cost of materials and the many hours of detailed work required to design, piece, quilt, and finish each one.
Quilts can be as simple or as detailed as you imagine. I enjoy working with customers to bring their ideas to life and welcome custom quilt requests. To provide a general idea of pricing, I’ve included two examples below: a lap-size quilt made with 5-inch squares and a queen-size quilt made with 10-inch squares.
Even a simple quilt requires many hours of careful cutting, piecing, pressing, quilting, and finishing.
We’ll collaborate to finalize design details, including:
Colors you’d like to include, backing fabric, and main fabric.
Personalization options, such as layout, names, quotes, favorite sayings, or anything else you envision
Creating a quilt can be customized to fit your vision, or if you would like me to take care of the design, that’s fine too!
Once approved, you’ll receive the final price (minus the deposit of $100). Full payment is due before pickup or shipping. I’ll take care of piecing, longarm quilting, and binding, delivering a quilt you’ll cherish forever or love to gift!
